ABOUT
PEN
PEN (Pioneering Educators Network) was founded and co-organized by IEG Foundation and Fulbright University Vietnam in 2019, which aims at connecting teachers and educators who are devoted to continuously bettering their crafts and delivering innovative high-quality teaching to learners across Vietnam.
The mission of PEN is to provide groundbreaking, essential, and practical educational research knowledge and training conferences for educators in Vietnam and the region.
Teachers and educators attending PEN will:

get updated on frontier research findings in education and related fields,
-
be introduced to the most innovative and effective teaching practices around the world,
-
have opportunities to practice applying and customizing those teaching approaches to suit their learners and professional contexts,
-
become a life-time member of the PEN FELLOW network to continue sharing educational knowledge and teaching practices, as well as spreading the spirit of continuous learning and improvement within the education sector of Vietnam.
Following the success of previous years, PEN 2023 continues to be an intensive practical training conference, shared and led by Vietnamese and international education experts.

Discount
policy
At PEN 2023, we would like to offer teachers a discount policy and tuition support as follows:
1. For groups of 2 or more teachers from the same school | Tuition fee: 1,500,000 VND
2. Travel cost support:
Priority for travel cost support will be given to teachers who meet the following 2 conditions:

Be eligible for the PEN Fellowship 2023 scholarship;

The distance of 300km from the applicant's address to the nearest PEN 2023 venue will be used as the benchmark for the us to consider one of the two options of travel cost support:
-
1 million VND: for distances under 300km
-
2 million VND: for distances of 300km or more
-
* Note: Each applicant can only apply for one form of scholarship/discount offer. A combination of both for the same case is not allowed.

Recipients of PEN FELLOWSHIP 2023 scholarship program should meet the following requirement(s):
(1) Currently working and teaching at middle and high schools nationwide;
(2) Completing all 03 scholarship evaluation questions in the application form (due to the limited number of participants, we will consider these responses instead of automatically awarding the scholarships);
(3) Attending the city closest to their place of residence:
Participants from Quang Binh to Ca Mau attending PEN in HCMC
Participants from Ha Giang to Ha Tinh attending PEN Hanoi
